Perfecting your Marketing Message with Web Pages and Blog Posts
For you to stand out as an expert in your field, your specialties and/or modalities must be presented well on your website. And the key to effective website content is all about how it is written.
Both, Specialty and Modality Pages, are important components to presenting your services and treatment methods on a well rounded website but with different aims.
Specialty Pages (~1000-1200 words) focus on marketing your therapeutic services. To make a Specialty Page most compelling, we developed a 7-Point Marketing Message method to copywriting for therapy and coaching websites. With this strategic writing approach, you can connect with your potential clients on a much deeper level, increasing the likelihood that they will pick up the phone and give you a call. (See example pages: more informal tone, more formal tone.)
Modality Pages (~800-1000 words) focus on educating potential clients about a specific treatment method. To make a Modality Page uniquely yours, we aim to convey your experience with the particular approach and explain how you use it in session to help your clients experience relief, healing, and/or growth. With a well developed Modality Page, you can reach potential clients who are searching for therapists utilizing a specific treatment method. (This type of page has a different structure than a specialty page; see example.)
Our content writing team is made up of a group of well qualified, thoroughly trained, and experienced writers. In collaboration with you and your expertise, we can write your Specialty/Modality Pages for you, as well as provide strategic search engine optimization (SEO) to help potential clients find and stay on your website.
(Note: If you would like to know more about collaborating with us and how you can fill your role, please read the OUR COLLABORATIVE WRITING APPROACH document. And to find out more about different types of pages and their purposes, you may want to read “Pre-Writing Process: Questionnaires & Types of Pages”.)
To create Specialty/Modality Pages that reflect your voice in the best possible way, our process encompasses the following:
01
Keyword research
To begin, we ll identify the best keywords to target for your specialty/modality and location that will help your page show up higher in key search results.
02
Page content questionnaire.
We will ask you to fill out a questionnaire for each page you ordered. Since you are the expert on your pages topic, we need your input to compose effective content that represents you well.
03
Phone interview.
The writer assigned to your project will schedule a phone interview with you to briefly review your questionnaire answers and ensure your message content and tone will be unique to you.
04
Writing the Specialty/ Modality Page
After you ve completed the interview, your writer will compose your Specialty/Modality Page content using our proven approaches and include the keywords we ve identified to optimize the page for ranking.
05
Revision of your message
Once the first draft is written, the writer will send it to you and request your feedback on the content. Up to 2 rounds of revisions are included in the page fee.
06
Delivery of completed Specialty/Modality Page.
We will send you a copy of your pages final version (for the regular Specialty/Modality Page offer, it is your responsibility to upload the content to your site)
As mentioned before, the key to effective website content is how it is written. And our expertise is your advantage.
Our unique Therapy Website Copy Blueprint was designed specifically for therapists to help you write pages that reach clients and help grow your online presence. It gives you insight to our proven marketing approach for therapy websites and allows you to compose your own pages with confidence. With the help of this strategic writing resource, you can make your page content the most compelling so you can connect with your potential clients on a much deeper level and increase the likelihood that they will contact you.
(*Note: It s important to write original content, especially if you are writing multiple pages for you site, because Google does not look favorably at duplicate content. Avoiding duplicate content will help your page/s to be more successful and increase the chance for conversion.)
An About Page (some call it bio page) is a personal page that helps readers get a sense of you as a therapist/coach and a person. The information included in this page (~600-1000 words) helps them like you, trust you, and find you credible (see sample). We offer it with and without uploading (2 rounds of revisions are included).
A Welcome or Home Page Message is a short introductory copy for your services (what issues you treat, your unique selling point, etc.) that is typically no longer than 150-200 words. It is intentionally short because it s designed to guide potential clients directly to your Specialty and Modality Pages (see welcome message examples below). This writing offer includes 1 round of revisions.

A Directory Profile is a short therapist/coach bio or practice profile (max. 400-words long/each, depending on the directory requirements). We currently offer writing profiles for these directory sites: Psychology Today, Good Therapy, Headway, Alma, Therapy for Black Girls, and TherapyDen. This writing offer includes 1 round of revisions, but uploading of the profile/bio is your responsibility.
You know you need blog posts for your website, but you re having a hard time writing them, right? Enter RiseWell Agency Blog Writing Services.
If you know anything about what it takes to get traffic to your website these days, you know that you need content, content, content. We ve helped therapists with online marketing since 2007, and in all that time, we ve never met a therapist that wrote consistently enough to keep their online presence strong.
That’s why we decided to create our blog writing services for therapists, the Therapy Blog Library.
Our Therapy Blog Library option is an inexpensive way for you to get continuing blog content on your website every month. When you sign up for the Therapy Blog Library membership, you choose how many blog posts you want us to write per month. You can choose either 2 blog posts per month or 4 blog posts per month. We will collaborate with you monthly about post topics and titles, write those blog posts for you, and then deliver them on the weeks you choose. Since the content is written without detailed input from you, we encourage you to modify it and personalize it once you receive it.
